Photo buffs — what’s the best kind of blank DVD to save photos?

When I go to the store I’m completely confused by all the choices. I have 4KB worth of photos that I want to save to a disc so I can give them to someone. I’d really appreciate any recommendations anyone has for a good blank DVD.

After “burning” thousands of CD/DVD discs and some of the awful experiences with some of them I would tend to agree with Your Outhouse on this one. I think for general purpose discs TDK is probably the one I’ve had the least problems with. Personally I’ve had really good experiences with Memorex also. Sony I don’t personally like and Maxell I refuse to buy anymore. Those consistently give me problems. Off brands I totally stay away from. When I create discs for some of my clients I use TDK. One of my “burners” is a lightscribe and the ONLY discs I use with it are TDK.
